Welcome to Exhale's Fine Arts 2017 Fundraising page.

Exhale Youth Ministries, is a ministry catered to high school students. It is one of many ministries provided by Refuge Church under our Senior Pastors Carlos and Rosa Ramos. Along with our youth pastors Isai and Isabel Iglesias, our goal is for this generation to fulfill the purpose God has called each of them to do.

What is Fine Arts?

In the beginning of January 2017, students from ExhaleYM, located in Fort Worth, Tx sought out to participate in fine arts.

What is Fine Arts?

"Fine Arts is a discipleship tool of national youth ministries designed to "help students discover, develop and deploy their ministry gifts."

Over 65,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts. Students may enter in 8 main divisions: Art, Communication, Dance, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing.

We had 28 students participate in 38 categories. For months they dreamed, listened, envisioned, studied, practiced, prayed and fasted. They were given an opportunity and they took full advantage of it. There were many sleepless nights, injuries and even doubts but they persevered thru it. Many, found out that there was more in them than they realized, and that God had everything under control.

In the end it wasn't about a competition, but a moment to minister, and along the way many found out that there's leadership in them.

As a result, this past April at our district fine arts festival, we had 12 Merit winning categories and 13 Superior with invitations to nationals.

The National Fine Arts Festival and National Youth Convention will be held in Anahiem, California August 7th-11th.

In order for each student to attend and participate in nationals they each must raise $1,320.

We are asking for your help! We are looking for contributors.

If you received this link either by text, email or social media, we are asking you to contribute into each of these students lives.

We are asking for a small contribution of $20.

Each one of our students need 66 people to commit into contributing $20.

The cost will cover:

Trip expenses

Housing

Transportation

Food

Registration

As a thank you to all that contribute, we would love to invite you and a guest to an appreciation service. This service will showcase all the categories that will be presented in nationals. Date is TBD.

Meet our youth that will be going to nationals:

Elijah Ballesteros
won merit in 4 categories: short sermon, graphic design, short film and promo video. He also uses his talents to make our church promo videos along with making our church video announcements. He has also preached to our youth group.

played a role in the merit winning category: worship band playing her acoustic guitar. She also participated in a large human video with an invitation to nationals. She is currently a coach for one of our human video teams.

this is his 1st year of participation and played a major role in 2 merit winning categories: human video and worship band. This will be his 1st trip to nationals

played a major role in the merit winning human video and coached the merit winning dance troupe. She also participates in our church media team as a cameragirl. She has also preached to our youth group.

has participated in human videos with an invitation to nationals. He uses his talents on sunday in our media team as a cameraman.

has PARTICIPATED in large, small and solo human videos, short sermon English and Spanish and 2D Art. He has invitations to nationals. He uses his talents as part of the production team for our church. He has also preached to our youth.

played major roles in 3 merit winning categories: human video, worship band and dance troupe. She uses her talents every sunday in our children's ministry. She also leads worship every Weds for ExhaleYM.

played a major role and coached a merit winning large human video. He also received 2 invitations to nationals for large human video and small human video. He uses his talents every sunday as an audio tech. He has also preached to our youth group.
